Fundraising
During 2007, an enthusiastic group from Simplyhealth offered to support a local charity. Andover Neighbourcarerecommended Andover VIPs to them as a local worthy charity. They assisted us with advice, planning, PR and fundraising.
A lively internal auction took place and the magnificent sum of £3311.17 was raise, including £500 from the community fund. This money is to be spent on a subsidised holiday to Teignmouth for members who deserved a break at a specially adapted hotel for the visually impaired.
