What does VIP mean?

VIP means visually impaired people.

Andover VIP's is an active local charity run by visually impaired members assisted by a dedicated team of sighted volunteers.

What do we do?

We provide some exciting activities such as an active social club, regular day outings, lunch clubs, and recreational and educational classes. For the sport minded members we can even provide bowling, swimming and armchair exercises!

Janet receiving awardsOur latest news - Janet Mason Pride of Andover Award.

Janet Mason co-ordinator of Andover VIPs was nominated for an Andover Advertiser Pride of Andover Award, under the Community Champion Section. She received a highly commended certificate from Esther Rantzen, supported by Richard Cartridge, formerly of radio Solent. The award ceremony took place at the Lights on 18 October. Janet was supported by Premila Hodge, Tina Elliman, Margaret Kerston, David Butcher and Andrew Howell.
